We all know that family life is all about taking care of everyone and everything. The kids, laundry, cleaning the house, groceries, and preparing meals. Good planning and a little support where possible definitely helps in this. That’s why I want to help you with sharing my free printable planner.
I’m a perfectionist in everything I do but that also means that so often I forget important days like birthdays or anniversaries. It is not that I don’t care about these people, the only problem is that it is always at the end of the day when I sit down with my coffee and go over my day that I realize that I forgot something. So since we live in Taiwan I put a calendar with all the important birthdays in my kitchen. Every last day of the month I changed it for the new months and checked the already marked days. If necessary I added things and we were good to go for another month.
In August 2020 I started my Instagram account @ourexpatlife_family and soon after I started creating this blog. That changed my housewife life into a more busy one. I like this extra work and it was time for me to do something for myself but it also needed better planning and a little bit more help from the family members. At the beginning of this year, I also added a weekly planner in the kitchen. On this planner, I write down every Sunday evening the most important things for the week and I check the monthly calendar for birthdays or other important days.

These planners help me to organize our life a little bit better. This feeling of having it all under control and organized helps me a lot. So I want to share these free printable planners with you.
I believe that every family can use a little help in their life, especially during this weird time. You can download the files and print them on your printer at home and by the end of this year, I will provide you a new one for 2022. So don’t forget to pin my calenders on Pinterest so you know where to find me when necessary.
1. Year planner
First of all, I will give you a year planner to have a perfect overview of the whole year. With colored markers, you can mark the national holidays and the kid’s holidays.
2. Monthly planner
I like to put an overview of the month on my fridge just to write down the birthdays I don’t want to forget. Also, other celebrations are a good idea to write down in this overview. There is enough space to add even other things that are important.
3. Weekly planner
In this weekly planner, you can write down all the appointments and sports of the whole family. There are also other useful tables to fill in like a shopping list and even a meal plan. Print a few in advance so you can write down all the important things of that week on a Sunday evening. You won’t forget any important thing anymore and it will give your more rest and hopefully a little bit extra me time during the day.
